An impressive monumental sculpture in repoussé and chiseled copper depicting Saint George, created in 1958 and signed by L. Macon.

Standing 153 cm tall, this work depicts the holy knight in a solemn, upright posture, with both hands resting on the hilt of his sword. The stylized treatment of the forms, the serene expression on the face, and the rich detail of the armor attest to a true mastery of hammered copperwork.
