Curiosity: Art Deco Gilded Bronze Vivarium, Circa 1925–1930 Ref1187
Rare gilded bronze vivarium in the Art Deco style and period.
It consists of six glass panes set in bronze and a lid featuring a galena lamp. The case rests on four small ball-shaped feet.
Period: circa 1925–1930.
Condition: in good overall condition; needs cleaning; in the condition in which it was found; some signs of wear from use and age on the bronze. The electrical wiring needs to be checked; there are small scratches on the glass panes. The removable top pane is not original (see numerous photos).
