A carved solid wood bas-relief depicting a draped putti / cherub, with clasped hands (missing) turned to the side. Its patina and the remnants of its original polychromy are very striking. The figure is depicted with its legs slightly bent, standing on its circular pedestal.
Two hand-forged screws connected by a metal wire allow this piece to be securely fastened.
Most likely dates from the late 17th / early 18th century.
