Material: Carved wood, lacquered in ivory white with traces of gilding.

Description:
A rare and striking pair of angels kneeling in adoration, with large, spread wings finely carved with feather details. Gentle, oval faces with sculpted wavy hair; soft, natural drapery that follows the kneeling posture atop a cloud with scrollwork. Hands crossed over the chest in a prayerful gesture, with one hand outstretched.
Original ivory-colored lacquer with a beautiful patina of age and traces of gilding still visible on the collar. A striking sculpture with strong decorative impact, typically found on an altar, ideal for an entryway, library, or private chapel.
