18-karat Gold And Platinum Ring, 5.58-carat Natural Emerald, Believed To Be From Colombia,

18-karat gold and platinum ring, featuring a 5.58-carat natural emerald (believed to be from Colombia) and diamonds

This high-jewelry ring is set at its center with a 5.58-carat natural emerald, step-cut, featuring a vivid green color and beautiful transparency. The stone reveals the internal inclusions characteristic of emeralds—traditionally referred to as “garden” inclusions—which contribute to its gemological identity.

The certificate issued by Gem Report Antwerp describes a natural emerald of Vivid Green color, transparent, and notes a suggested Colombian origin. It also specifies the presence of moderate oil treatment in the fissures and cavities, a treatment traditionally applied to emeralds.

The center stone is surrounded by twelve brilliant-cut diamonds, arranged in a rectangular setting with rounded corners. The four largest diamonds each weigh just over 0.50 carats, while the other eight diamonds weigh approximately 0.30 carats each, for an estimated total weight of about 4.40 carats.

The diamonds are primarily graded between E and G in color, with clarities ranging from VVS2 to VS2, giving the piece a beautiful luminosity and creating a striking contrast with the emerald’s green hue.

The setting combines an 18-karat yellow gold ring band with a platinum bezel and prong settings; platinum is traditionally used in jewelry for its durability and its ability to complement white gemstones discreetly.

The ring comes with two gemological certificates, including one from Gem Report Antwerp.
