Louis Dage (1885–1961) was a French ceramicist whose career spanned from the Paris region to the Landes, where he settled in 1935. He worked notably at the Faïencerie de l’Adour in Saint-Sever and developed a rich and experimental body of work, blending Art Nouveau and Art Deco influences with reinterpretations of Samadet’s decorative motifs. His work is distinguished by the diversity of techniques used—glazes, drips, crackle finishes, and inlays—and by a great deal of creative freedom.  A unique figure in 20th-century French ceramics.
