Animal bronze sculpture called: Horse at the Djinn Gate by Pierre-Jules Mêne (1810-1879). Late 19th-century bronze with a brown and gold patina. It is signed in relief on the front base. Dimensions: H: 29 cm; W: 40 cm; D: 14.5 cm. An interesting and typical subject for the artist, featured in Pierre Kjellberg's book on 19th-century bronzes, page 479.
