A very rare vermeil skeleton watch with a double protective case, by Jacques Glaesner of Lyon, a master watchmaker in the 18th century.
Enamel dial with Roman numerals (rare winding at 12 o'clock), period gold hands.
Magnificent skeleton movement entirely engraved with flowers and foliage, striking the hours and quarters by pressing the bow. Steel balance and primitive cylinder.
Plain vermeil case glazed on both sides.
