Two-part Barocchetto Sideboard, Italy, Third Quarter Of The 18th Century
Baroque-style double-body sideboard in lacquered and painted wood. Upper section with an architectural cornice, featuring a central carved vase and a pair of glass doors. Main body with a pair of doors, a drawer, and interior shelves; ornate legs. Decorated with painted panels depicting gilded scroll and “C”-shaped motifs, framing flowers and vases with flowers. It retains traces of the original lacquer, although it was entirely relacquered and repainted in the 20th century.
