Cast bronze incense burner, uniform brown patina, massive structure. Ovoid body supported by three curved feet with zoomorphic profiles. Archaic-style decoration in bas-relief, consisting of volutes, stylized bands, and motifs inspired by the ritual bronzes gui and ding.
Openwork lid topped by a chimera in the round, its open mouth serving as a vent. Side handles shaped like fantastical creatures, integrated into the line of the neck.
Dense, even casting, no casting defects, and a well-unified surface. Deep, stable patina, not enhanced.
Beneath the base, a circular raised stamp, a private foundry mark attesting to controlled, non-imperial production.
