Artist: Jean Louis Bonnant
A set of four black-lacquered metal chairs with openwork backs by Jean-Louis Bonnant. These chairs are famous for appearing in Jacques Tati’s first color film, *Mon Oncle*, in 1958. They were later found in the mining town of Cansado, Mauritania, where the furnishings were largely designed by Charlotte Perriand.
The seats are padded with foam and covered in gray faux leather, which has been replaced.
