Roof Finial Chinese Imperial Style
A roof finial (see photo), Chinese in style, made of glazed earthenware and stamped with a five-clawed dragon—an imperial symbol. The five-clawed dragon was reserved exclusively for objects, clothing, and furniture intended for the emperor. We can therefore conclude that this tile was located at one end of an imperial palace.
