Hand-blown And Pinched Glass Holy Water Jug. Eighteenth Century.

Small holy water jug, gargoulette, or cantir made of green glass, blown and pinched;
Its elongated, bulbous body, with twisted fluting, is topped by a ring-shaped handle and rests on a hollow pedestal; the body is also decorated with a pinched blue glass ribbon.
In good condition despite a crack in the base visible in one of the photos; the object does not leak.
Probably from southwestern France;
First half of the eighteenth century.
