Louis XIII Period Box.
Leather box on a wooden core. The stamped leather is decorated with fleurs-de-lys in a grid, rosettes; the lid is lifted using a bronze handle, the keyhole and the reinforcing corners are in brass. Good condition despite the missing key, the interior can be relined with marbled paper. Louis XIII period. Mid-seventeenth century.
