28” octagonal barrel, rifled bore, dovetail-mounted front sight, and adjustable rear sight. Marked on the top panel and across two lines: COLT’S PT.F. AMFG CO HARDFORD CT USA – PATENTED MAY 29, SEPT 18.83, MAY 26.85, JUNE 15.86, FEB 22. 87, and on the left side 40-60-260.
Blued steel breechblock, engraved with the iconic foal on the left side. Blue screws.
Trigger guard stamped 1868.
Steel butt plate.
Walnut stock and pump, perfectly fitted.

Exceptional condition. Barrel and magazine are 98% blued; the breechblock retains its original luster. Mirror-finish barrel. Screw heads in perfect condition.
