Large Eight-light Chandelier Made Of Painted Wood And Gilded Iron
The central baluster-shaped shaft, made of turned and carved wood, is accentedwith stylized leaves encircling the crown that holds the eight light armsmade of gilded wrought iron with double coils, each ending in a lampshade in the shape ofMedici vases, made of carved wood accented with a row of pearls.
The base of the shaft,shaped like a spinning top, is carved with gadroons and pearls and topped by amultilobed ball resting on a solid wrought-iron ring.
