Small, naïve 19th-century oil painting on cardboard, signed "H" or "JL Leivo, 83 (?)", inscribed "Rio." The city of Rio and its houses nestled among the hills.
The back was damaged by water at some point. The frame was taken apart to clean the dust off the glass; the Marie-Louise glass is slightly soiled on the left (see photos). Painting dimensions:
