Iris Flower Opal Ring In 18 Karats Gold, Art Nouveau Style
Iris flower opal ring in 18 karats gold. Ring centered with a bezel-set oval Australian opal cabochon weighing 3 carats. The shoulders of the ring are decorated with floral motifs sculpted in relief representing irises, a recurring motif in jewelry created during the Art Nouveau period. The inside of the band is engraved with the date 1923. This ring is a reproduction of a model made in 1900. Vintage ring, circa 1980 reproduction of a 1900 model, France.
