The Hill House chair was designed to furnish Hill House, a private residence in Helensburgh, Scotland.
It features a very tall, slender yet slightly curved backrest, shaped like a ladder and topped with a lattice pattern.
It is crafted from solid blackened ash wood, reminiscent of Japanese lacquered wood. It is described as “theatrical” yet “minimalist and modern” with “its sophisticated and streamlined design.”
Stamped with the manufacturer’s name.
Signs of wear on the seat.
