A significant Louis XVI-style clock in chiseled and gilded bronze and red griotte marble, featuring two putti representing literature and painting. They rest on a pedestal that holds the round, white-enameled dial. The oblong base is decorated with a row of pearls, foliage scrolls, an acanthus frieze, pilasters, and a finial. It rests on six legs, the front ones featuring flattened ball feet.
