Antique Officer's Sword – 19th Century
An elegant 19th-century officer’s saber, featuring a single-branch brass hilt and a finely carved and filigree-decorated handle made of natural material.
The straight blade is adorned with engraved and gilded decorations featuring motifs of trophies, foliage, and emblems, reflecting high-quality craftsmanship. The guard is adorned with a shield bearing a crowned anchor entwined by a serpent, a military symbol whose interpretation is left to the discretion of collectors.
The sword as a whole displays a beautiful antique patina. The engravings remain clearly visible despite normal signs of wear. The blade retains its original decorations, and the weapon displays fine craftsmanship.
Condition: generally well-preserved, with the usual signs of use and age. Some surface and gilding wear, which does not detract from its collectible value.
