The deeply openwork carving attests to the virtuosity of the Italian workshops of the period. The sides are adorned with scrolls ending in delicate pendants, while the scalloped base harmoniously complements the half-moon top, creating a particularly decorative ensemble.

With its fluid lines, rich ornamentation, and theatrical character, this console table evokes the works of the great 18th-century workshops of Northern Italy, renowned for the quality of their carving and the exuberance of their Rocaille decoration.

The black-lacquered half-moon top is a replacement dating from the 20th century. This historic modification blends harmoniously with the piece as a whole while ensuring perfect functionality.
