Small Renaissance Coin Box
Small Renaissance-style drop-front cabinet made of walnut with its original patina. When opened, the drop-front reveals the wood’s beautiful natural grain and features the original lock. The upper cornice is finished with an eye-catching dentil molding, a classic motif typical of Renaissance palace facades. The small cabinet rests on four carved supports shaped like lion’s paws, lending the structure both elegance and visual stability.
The interior consists of a niche with a round-arched opening, protected by a small door. Surrounding it are several small drawers of various sizes with original ring-shaped knobs that resemble small grotesque masks.
