Gilded bronze photo frame with a glossy and matte patina, dating from the period 1880–1900, in the Neo-Renaissance style.
Beautiful ornamentation, richly decorated with faun heads, mascarons, crescent moons, vases of flowers, and rosettes... blended with an original architectural form reminiscent of the dormer windows found in certain French Renaissance castles.
The gilding is beautiful.
