Pocket Watch With Window And Jumping Hours Patented Gt System Steel And Gold
Artist: Système G.t Breveté
Pocket watch called gusset from the 1890s-1910s which has a unique display system, in fact there is an enameled dial decorated with flowers, openwork in the center where three windows appear, one for the hour, hence the expression jumping hour and the other two below for the minutes, at 6 o'clock are the seconds on a very small dial.
This watch comes from a private collection, it was revised at the time of the previous owner, it works very well, only thing the minutes are updated not when the second hand passes 60 seconds but when this hand passes towards 25 seconds.
The case is made of steel and the bail appears to be made of gold (hallmarked), it measures 55mm in diameter and 18mm in depth.
Note that the dial is cracked and has a restoration around 1 o'clock.
