Turtle Wall Fountain — Sarreguemines Porcelain
A wall-mounted turtle fountain with a majolica basin, made around 1890 in Sarreguemines. The green turtle is mounted on the wall. With its head facing downwards, it serves as a reservoir that can be opened at the rear of the reptile. It is accompanied by a conch-shaped basin.
Engraved on the turtle and the basin: ‘SARREGUEMINES’.
