"Pair Of Alsatian Chairs"
A pair of Alsatian chairs with carved walnut backrest. These two chairs are presenting a sculpted backrest, with the same scroll patterns, inserting itself in the seat. The latter is mounted on four divergent legs, fluted for one and hexagonal for the other.
Dated: end of the 17th, beginning of the 18th century

Seat height : 40,9 cm one / 44,5 cm the other
Seat depth : 37,5 cm one / 37 cm the other
Backrest height : 42,1 cm one / 42, 5 cm the other
Condition: good ; the backrests are from the 17th century, the seats are from the 18th century
