Saint Louis - Crystal Liquor Decanter, Engraved And Gilded With Fine Gold - Nelly Model
Large liqueur bottle (50 cl) made of St. Louis crystal, "Nelly Empire" model with gold accents.
"Nelly" is a beautiful "frosted" design, gilded with fine gold in Empire-style motifs—palmettes and lambrequins.
Dating from the 1900s, it does not bear the Saint Louis signature, as the crystal manufacturer began applying its acid-etched stamp in 1936. The profile is characteristic of Saint Louis bottles, and the gilded palmette design appears several times in the 1908 catalog.
Our bottle is in excellent condition. The gilding is fresh, with no wear.
