A very beautiful cup and saucer made of German porcelain from Altwasseur in Silesia, from the HUTSCHENREUTHER porcelain manufactory, whose mark it bears, accompanied by a coat of arms with a numeric emblem surmounted by a crown and underlined with the word “BAVARIA.”
A very beautiful piece in excellent condition, richly painted with floral vase motifs, cascading flowers, and a floral bouquet on the cup’s interior. The piece is almost entirely gilded (the gilding is in excellent condition) and is truly sumptuous. The interior of the cup is magnificent.
No imperfections to report; this porcelain must have spent more than a century and a half in a display case.
