The openwork, ribbon-patterned body is adorned with laurel leaves. Each leg is decorated with acanthus leaves.
The body is finished with ribbon-style moldings at the top and bottom.
It comes complete with its original interior: a ruby-colored, multi-lobed crystal bowl (likely from the Saint-Louis crystalworks).
The set dates from the Napoleon III period.
