The body, precisely modeled with pencil contours, exhibits an“S”-shaped internal movement. The modern woman, with herbob haircut, presents herself in her own way in a pose imbued withclassical grace. The face, whose features are not further defined, makesthe person depicted an archetype of the new beauty. Thechromatic structure that envelops the entire work evokes a sense ofgentle physicality and lends the depiction a sensual vibrato.
