Early 20th Century, Ceramic Ibex Sculpture In The Style Of Iranian Aquamaniles.
Early 20th century, a very beautiful and unusual ceramic sculpture depicting a ibex, crafted in the style of 12th- and 13th-century Iranian aquamaniles. It may be a European piece, with a color palette reminiscent of the works of Alexandre Bigot or Pierre-Adrien Dalpayrat, for example.
The ibex’s mouth and eyes are outlined in manganese.
Dimensions: Length 19.5 (cm)
The piece is in good condition, with no chips or cracks (not even on the horns), aside from slight wear and small original chips on the bases of the legs, which are consistent with the piece’s removal from the kiln.
Substantial weight due to its high density.
We take special care with our packaging by using optimal protective materials. Shipping includes insurance. Shipping rates: Metropolitan France: 22 euros; European Union countries and Switzerland: 32 euros; Eastern European and Maghreb countries: 55 euros; United States, Australia, Asia, and the rest of the world: 105 euros.
