A rare and spectacular Empire-style mirror made of carved wood, featuring an eagle with outstretched wings overlooking a circular mirror framed by green and gold polychrome molding. 

The lower section is adorned with an elaborate design of acanthus leaves and finely carved volutes.

The eagle, a symbol of power and majesty, is rendered with remarkable attention to detail: its plumage is richly carved, its head turned in profile, and its wings spread wide, lending the piece an exceptional decorative presence. 

This type of mirror was traditionally intended for hunting lodges, country estates, or mountain homes.
