Lefaucheux-system spindle revolver with a folding trigger, in its black leather holster. 19th century.
Octagonal barrel with sights and rifled interior. 
The barrel is marked “ACIER FONDU” on the left side and has a partially erased initial on the right side.
The serial number, 21, is engraved below the barrel and on the cylinder at the entrance to the chambers.
Smooth 6-shot 7 mm cylinder with floral decoration, stamped with “ELG ETOILE” in an oval (Liège, 1811–1893) and the inspector’s “L” ETOILE mark.
Right-side lift-up loading door.
Mechanism in working order, single-shot and double-shot.
Folding trigger.
Hallmark “L, ETOILE” beneath the reinforcement pin of the ejection rod.
Bakelite grip plates engraved with floral designs in relief.
Polished white frame, engraved with floral designs.
Black leather case with flap, fastening tab, and boot-style button.
