One of the panels bears the embroidered inscription “LE PAIN QUOTIDIEN”.
The work consists of twelve panels, arranged in a grid, each illustrating a scene from the traditional bread-making cycle, from harvesting to baking.The motifs, created using multicolored fabric appliqués, depict people at work, sheaves of wheat, farm animals, and various scenes of rural life.
Condition: excellent overall condition.The colors are fresh and well-preserved, the appliqué and embroidery are securely fastened, and the quilting is stable and even.The panel is also pre-equipped on the back with a hanging system and is therefore ready to be hung on the wall.
