Waistcoat And Breeches, 18th Century, Circa 1780.
Waistcoat: to be worn under a frock coat or as indoor wear, decorated on the front and around the neckline with floral motifs in silver thread and colored fabrics; it features 10 buttons covered in the same fabric.
Breeches: black with a fly, made of silk or silk satin, with legs that fall straight and are form-fitting; the cuffs at the calves feature 5 black woven buttons ending in a short fabric closure strap.
Shirt: new, added in the spirit of the period’s fashion.
Two authentic garments of fine decorative quality and/or collector’s value.
Note: a small alteration on the culottes; one button is missing from the front panel, which can be replaced using a matching black button from the waistband.
These two garments can be sold with the mannequin stand, as shown.
