Important etching, after Van der Meulen, depicting the 1668 siege of Gray in the County of Burgundy, which pitted the French against the Comtois and the Spanish, to whom the town belonged. The capture of the town of Gray by Louis XIV marked the end of the First War of Conquest of Franche-Comté.
