The medal features sculpted profile portraits of the three historical figures and pioneering founders of the spirits brand: Facundo Bacardi, Emilio Bacardi y Moreau, and Enrique Schueg y Chassin. The bottom is adorned with the brand’s first emblem.
The work is signed in the metal by American sculptor Ralph J. Menconi.
On the reverse:
The piece bears the brand’s symbol: the Bacardi bat with outstretched wings, surrounded by the complete circular inscription: "Bacardi Building - Hamilton, Bermuda - May 26, 1972"
On the edge:
The engraved workshop inscriptions guaranteeing the origin and purity of the metal: "Medallic Art Co NY. 999. + Pure Silver
