A bronze sculpture with a golden-brown patina depicting a woman in the Antique style, Venus dressed in a veil emerging from the bath, seated on a pedestal with a cushion. The terrace is signed by the artist Dumaige Henri Étienne (1830-1888), a pupil of Jean Feuchère. He exhibited at numerous salons from 1863 to 1886.
