Roger Bolzonello born in Caudry in northern France in 1944 began painting at the age of 13, when he composed his first canvases. After becoming a horticulturist, he devoted himself to painting floral compositions and landscapes, notably in Normandy, Giverny and Provence, until he decided to make it his profession and set up his easel in Saint-Paul de Vence.
