Pair of Louis XVI-period mahogany and marble chiffonnières
Elegant pair of Louis XVI-period solid mahogany and flamed mahogany veneered Oval Form chiffonnières, resting on four tapered legs finished with bronze sabots.
Each piece opens at the front with a sliding leaf revealing an interior storage space.
The fronts are punctuated with fine vertical fluting, characteristic of the neoclassical taste of the late 18th century.
The tops are topped with gray veined white marble, encircled by a gilded brass openwork gallery, bringing refinement and lightness to the ensemble.
A kidney-shaped lower spacer shelf harmoniously completes the line of the furniture.
Very fine quality cabinetwork, with an elegant warm patina of mahogany and beautiful finishing bronzes.
This pair can also be used as prestige bedside tables, sofa ends or small salon corner pieces.
