These candleholders feature a fluted shafton a tripod base adorned with powerful lion paws in patinatedpatinated bronze, a motif emblematic of the neoclassical taste anddecorative repertoire of the First Empire. The capitals and spandrels are richlyrichly decorated with acanthus leaves, palmettes and vegetal motifsquality chasing.
