Pair of large twisted columns with Corinthian capitals in carved and gilded oak from the 18th c. Twisted shafts richly carved with garlands of climbing flowers, topped by a delicately carved Corinthian capital (a few missing capital tops).original luminous gold leaf gilding in very good condition (a few old repeats and slight burns). This pair of columns are 18th century architectural sculptures, probably part of an altarpiece or interior of the period.
