Pair of gilt-patinated bronze cassolettes on marble bases – 19th century – H. 34 cm. An elegant pair of 19th-century gilt-patinated bronze cassolettes, featuring a lidded vase on a pedestal foot, richly adorned with cascading floral garlands held by bows, in the Louis XVI style.


The lids, topped with pinecone finials, are accented by a finely chased frieze, while the pedestal feet rest on understated circular bases of veined white marble, lending elegance and stability to the ensemble.
