Elegant Louis XV-style Boulle marquetry watchholder richly decorated with gilded bronzes.
It opens with a front door revealing the space intended to receive a watch.
Very fine decorative quality, with extensive Boulle marquetry work featuring floral motifs and scrolls on a red tortoiseshell and brass background, embellished with finely chased and gilded bronzes.
The top is surmounted by a gilded bronze figure, and the front features allegorical decoration at the bottom.
