Ginori Manufactory, Ca. 1890 – Polychrome Majolica, No. 390
Ginori Manufactory, ca. 1890 – Polychrome majolica, no. 390
Refined polychrome majolica from the Ginori Manufactory, dating from around 1890. The piece features an elaborate decorative composition, supported by a richly crafted Neo-Renaissance-style base. The upper part is dominated by a head modeled with remarkable expressiveness, characterized by pronounced features and a decorated headdress, a typical element of Ginori productions inspired by 19th-century exoticism.
The glazed majolica frame, in shades of blue, ochre, and gold, elegantly frames the figure, while hanging plant motifs, modeled and painted with great skill, complete the composition. The piece, numbered 390, attests to the high technical and stylistic level achieved by the Tuscan manufactory in its late-19th-century artistic production.
An object of great visual impact, ideal for collectors and for historically themed interiors.
