Trompe l'Oeil Terrine Depicting A Cauliflower - 19th Century
this trompe-l'oeil terrine, its base and lid in fine earthenware, depicts a cauliflower with a naturalistic decoration composed of two tall rows of green leaves and a beige center. The base is molded with similar green leaves, and the handle is shaped like garlic.
