Miniature Porcelain Box With Masonic Decoration, Late 19th / Early 20th Century

A small rectangular box in white porcelain with a brass mount, hand-decorated with Masonic symbols: a square, a compass, a ruler and a crown, arranged in a stylised composition enhanced with gilding. The clasp itself features a design evoking the emblems and tools associated with Masonic societies.
The reverse bears a mark consisting of three blue dots and a hand-painted monogram.
French work from the late 19th or early 20th century.
This small box is reminiscent of social, commemorative or collectable objects associated with guild and Masonic circles. It could have been used as a pill box, a box for tablets or simply as a display piece.
A fine collector’s item.

Condition: generally good condition. Attractive appearance. A missing section in the gilding is visible.
