Large Empire Cookie Bowl In Paris Porcelain Attributed To The Manufacture De Locré 23cm
Large white and gold Paris porcelain cookie bowl, fine work from the Consulat period (early 19th century circa 1800) attributed to the Manufacture de Locré (founded by Jean-Baptiste Locré in 1771; he ran it until 1810).
Large format ideal for presenting cookies but also lends itself very well to use as a salad bowl.
In excellent, near-new condition. The gilding is beautiful, deep and very well preserved, with no wear.
