Rests on 4 turned legs connected by 4 original crosspieces
The waistband is embellished with a drawer at the front
The top is very thick and cut at the corners
This 17th century table is entirely pegged and hand-sawn
The drawer is mounted with studded dovetails
Note: the sobriety and elegance of the 4 legs
Some wear restorations: rear corner end on the top (not very visible)
The construction of this table with its low crosspieces connecting the 4 legs was made to withstand the centuries as this structure is very solid
